About: Programs offered on a whole through both the Southport and Winnipeg Stevenson Campus include: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Diploma Program, AME "M" Apprenticeship Program, Introduction to Aircraft Maintenance, Aerospace Manufacturing Technician, and Non-Destructive Testing. Industry Specialty Courses/Recurrent Training include: AME Refresher/Recurrent Training, Aircraft Technical Records, Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) Human Factors Training and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). The aviation programs at Stevenson Campus Southport include a well equipped selection of training aircraft, repair shops and classrooms. The Southport Campus has been home to the Aircraft AME Apprenticeship or Aircraft Maintenance Journeyperson Program. Students also have the opportunity to take advantage of the infrastructure provided by Southport Aerospace that includes housing, food services and recreational facilities. The Stevenson Campus delivers several different types of aviation or aerospace courses, tailored to meet industry needs, the AME Refresher Training offers courses to sharpen skills in preparation for the Transport Canada AME exams.
