French Immersion:

The Portage la Prairie School Division offers the French Immersion program.  French Immersion is a in-depth comprehensive learning style for students who wish to learn the French language and receive their French Immersion diploma.  If signed up for French Immersion all classes (with the exception of English and Math) will be taught only in French and will provide students with an understanding of the written and spoken French language.  In order for a student to graduate with their French Immersion Diploma they must acquire a total of 14 credits at the following levels from courses taught in French.
