Services: Health Links – Info Santé, is available to all Manitobans to help them figure out or get help for any illness. Registered nurses follow assessment guidelines to triage health issues – everything from flu symptoms to child fevers to heart attacks. Callers are given advice as to what health-care path should be followed: call 911; visit an emergency department, urgent care, walk-in clinic or family physician; or advice and education are given about managing symptoms at home. Health Links – Info Santé nurses also provide general health information and help callers find health resources in local communities across Manitoba and is available in over 100 languages through over-the-phone interpreters.

Services: The Portage Clinic is part of Southern Health and is a walk-in medical clinic. The clinic is open from 9am-8pm on Mondays-Thursdays, 9am-7pm on Fridays and 11am-4pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The walk-in clinic should be used for non-emergency medical needs only. If you have a medical emergency you should visit the Portage General Hospital.

Services: The Portage General Hospital provides a wide range of services, including diagnostic imaging (CT scans, ultrasound and x-rays), laboratory services, obstetrics, community cancer services and more. Telehealth services, including a mental health liaison nurse, are used to connect clients to health care providers at other locations in Manitoba, reducing the need to travel for care. Dialysis treatments are also available on site.

Services: The Portage Teen Clinic is located in the basement of the PCI black building. To access confidential health services you may see: a nurse practitioner, public health nurse, dietitian, mental health, or AFM counselor. The Portage Teen Clinic offers a full range of primary health care services including: complete physicals, treatment of minor acute injuries/illness, in clinic testing, reproductive health, nutrition counseling, STI concerns and testing/treatment, help with depression/anxiety, information about alcohol or drug use, and referrals to other health professionals/specialists.

Services: Support Services for people facing an unexpected pregnancy or requiring any pregnancy related assistance. Client advocates are available to listen and discuss all options — abortion, adoption, and parenting — in a caring, safe, respectful environment. All services are free and confidential. Clients are served regardless of age, gender, sexual identity or orientation, race, or religion. Walk-ins welcome.

Support Services: Free pregnancy tests, information and education on all pregnancy-related options, referrals to community services, maternity and baby clothing, adoption support and post-abortion grief support.
